St. James Marketplace is located in a historical, old schoolhouse and includes a farmers market/home made craft display room/tea room/history room. St. James, located 1/4 mi North of Scenic Highway 12, is 4 mi on scenic road from Missouri River and Goat Island where Pvt. George Shannon was lost on the Lewis & Clark expedition and be sure to check out the carved Shannon Statue in Wynot.

Come to our area and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. We offer school tours of the marketplace, showing off the pioneer history. Along the Lewis & Clark Trail, you will be sure to learn more about the Corps of Discovery and the Shannon Trail. Nebraska Tourism has never been better.
